Job Description
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will understand the demands of the position, working closed with the Senior Cyber Security Engineer, you will be a champion of our vision and values, support team members and deliver outstanding customer service to internal and external stakeholders. The Cyber Security Engineer will be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented. They will be experienced working on foundational and emerging cyber security technologies in business environments. This role is expected to achieve KPI’s set by the Technical Services Manager and Senior Cyber Security Engineer, action and remediate assigned incidents, and work on audit projects and remediation projects.

Essential Position Requirements:
Strong interest in cyber security and desire to grow in the field.
Experience delivering Essential Eight and other control implementations.
A team player, motivated to safeguard the nation’s digital and critical infrastructure.
Knowledge of common standards and frameworks.
Experience with vulnerability management tools.
Ability to translate cyber security concepts into clear, customer friendly language.
Management of Microsoft 365 tenancies.
Experience with one or more security tools or practices, such as: EDR, application control, vulnerability management, DLP, IDS/IPS, network security, SIEM, IAM, and cloud security.
Ability to obtain an AGSVA security clearance.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Relevant certifications.
Demonstrated knowledge of cloud infrastructure security (Azure and AWS).
